We hope you had a great summer and managed to find a few days of sunshine to relax.
Now is a great time to gather your team together and plan next year’s events, training, meetings and incentives. We are here to help with ideas for destinations, hotels and venues and if you would like us to look into negotiating rates for accommodation at your favourite hotels we can help with that too. Just give us a call.
Here are some lovely hotels and venues that have come to our attention this month.
Longleat has so much to offer and the team there can put together packages to suit all budgets, sizes and requirements. There are the options of arranging a simple board meeting, a tour of the private rooms in Longleat house, some down time to enjoy an up close safari with the animals, or a truly unique team building activity. Additionally you could have a private gala dinner with dancing in Longleat’s wine cellar or the more traditional outdoor activities. Whatever you choose it is all available to you. They even have a couple of local hotels for additional options and accommodation. Early next year they also hope to have a brand new event venue—watch this space! This is definitely a venue that offers something above the ordinary!
Stapleford Park is an historic country estate near Melton Mowbray and is surrounded by stunning landscaped grounds. It is a perfect venue for meetings, conferences and team building activities. You could choose to have outdoor activities such as country pursuits or (as they are close to the birth place of the pork pie!) you could entertain your delegates with pork pie making demonstrations and sausage making! Either way the friendly, efficient staff are on hand to ensure your event is a great success.
Queens Hotel Cheltenham is now an Mgallery by Sofitel following a major refurbishment. With lots of high quality original features and 84 bedrooms this elegant hotel is well worth considering for your next event.
Starhotels are a predominantly Italian based hotel company but they have recently taken over 2 London properties both in Kensington with around 50 bedrooms each. They are cosy, 4 and 5 star hotels with beautifully decorated bedrooms and distinctive bars, meeting rooms and restaurants. They also have properties in New York, Paris and across Italy.
The Savoy (formerly the Limerick Marriott), located in the heart of Limerick’s riverside City, is the only 5 star hotel in Limerick. There are 94 luxury bedrooms and a selection of meeting rooms with the largest offering a maximum capacity of 260 for a reception. The hotel is ideally positioned for exploring the surrounding area.
If you are looking for a reasonably priced venue in the South West for a presentation or product launch, the National Self Build and Renovation Centre (NSBRC for short!), in Swindon might have the space you are looking for. The Piazza is a vast space with self build displays which make a great backdrop for networking events, breaks and demonstrations whilst the main theatre can hold 240 delegates and has a fixed stage with a 162 inch screen.
