Summer is here at last and let’s hope we keep the sunshine for a couple of months.

The nexusvenue team have been out and about in the first half of this year, visiting lots of great properties and meeting with many interesting people.

We have previously introduced PG Events to you.
They are an event management team who can supply all sorts of audio visual equipment, pop ups, banners etc not to mention script writing, videos and on the day on site event management.

We had a great response from a recent competition which introduced Coombe Abbey, on the outskirts of Coventry. Congratulation to Lisa who won a nights’ stay for two in this fabulous property. Formerly a 12th century Cistercian monastery and little more than a crumbling ruin, it has been converted into a luxurious hotel. Behind its medieval facade, the Hotel provides state-of-the-art presentation technology and 21st century comforts such as free and unlimited WiFi access, valet parking and elegant and well-equipped conference rooms. The Hotel currently has 83 bedrooms all filled with historical artefacts and special touches – you may even find a bathroom hidden behind a bookcase! The number of bedrooms will increase to 118 during the summer when the new build expansion has been complete. Well worth a visit.

The team also visited the Four Pillars hotel in Witney. This hotel has a lovely country feel yet is easily accessible being just outside Oxford. The Hotel has just been refurbished to a very high standard with a variety of meeting rooms and a versatile restaurant with an area which can be closed off for private dining or dinner dances. The feel of a four star hotel but at three star prices.
