As 2014 draws to a close we take a moment to look back on the many, many bookings we have made on your behalf not just for meetings and conferences but also incentive trips and the all important accommodation, on the venues and hotels that we have visited, on the destinations that have really stood out and the hotel reps who have come to see us to tell us about their fabulous properties.
This month we are sharing some of our favorites with you and would very much like to hear your views on hotels, venues and destinations that have made a favorable impression on you this year!

“For top end hotels in London there are many to choose from” says Sylvain. “For a no budget, leisure stay I would suggest 45 Park Lane, hard to beat! For service The Milestone is exceptional and for something modern and cool it has to be Ham Yard, it really is the place to be seen!”
“Outside of London one of my favorite hotels is Manoir Quat’Seasons in Oxfordshire—a top hotel for service, food and quality.” says Sylvain. “Whilst the more affordable Chesford Grange in Kenilworth is a really good all-rounder, extensive conference facilities and very helpful and friendly staff.”
“Internationally I do think that Belmond have some lovely properties. Belmond Villa San Michele in Florence and Belmond Mont Nelson Hotel in Cape Town have always been my favourites. I would have to rate both of them 10 out of 10 for service, location and food.” says Sylvain.
Coombe Abbey offers something a bit different, historic but with all the modern comfort and technology that you could need. “We have always had great feedback from events here, particularly for the medieval banquet and the staff always get highlighted as going all out to ensure that the guests are truly taken care of.” says Karen.
Karen likes the Novotel Birmingham Airport. She says “It is always a pleasure to deal with the very friendly staff, they are very efficient when it comes to contracts and event details. The feedback from the delegates is always good too and that is what it is all about. It is a great hotel in a really useful location.”
“Malta is my favorite destination” says Sue, “whether it is an incentive for a small group or a big conference there are some great hotels, many different venues for off-site dining, interesting and fun activities and of course beautiful sunshine. The DMC that we work with here will pull out all the stops to make sure your event is memorable for all the right reasons.”
“We have booked all sorts of team building over the years but I didn’t think I should miss this opportunity to mention the Duck Herding that we organized for a client this year. It looked like such fun and not something you would encounter on a daily basis!” says Sue.
“We are in daily contact with the Reading Moat House and always find the staff there friendly and helpful. We book mostly accommodation with some small meetings and have always had great feedback. Having dined there myself on several occasions I would say that the food is consistently delicious.” says Tanya.
“Melia de Mar in Mallorca was a great choice for clients who booked a conference and incentive this summer. The group loved the hotel; the location was great and the facilities excellent. We would definitely put it forward again.” says Louise
“We have used Hilton Amsterdam a couple of times this year for conferences for around 100 delegates and have received excellent feedback. “The hotel is great to deal with not just at the booking stage but also during the event.” says Louise.
“The International Centre, Telford is very versatile, modern and a great option for large conferences, exhibitions or Gala dinners in the Midlands.” says Tanya. “I booked a large conference here this year and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. There are also hotels on site for those who need to stay overnight.”
