This month we love 3 venues recently visited in South Gloucestershire, Worcester, and London.
De Vere Tortworth Court, Wotton-under-Edge, South Gloucestershire
Ideally located in the Southern Cotswolds, just 25 minutes north of Bristol and 20 minutes from Bristol Parkway, De Vere Tortworth Court offers easy access to the M5.
With 201 bedrooms and 14 versatile event spaces for up to 230 delegates in a cabaret style or 400 delegates in a theatre style, the hotel combines modern facilities with historic character. From the spacious and flexible Westminster Suite to the garden Tipi, there’s a space to suit every occasion.
The inimitable Orangery, a Victorian conservatory with ornate glass ceilings, original period detailing, and space for up to 120 guests offers a truly memorable setting and it includes a private bar and patio area for guests to enjoy the outdoors.
Guests can enjoy a choice of dining options, from the 1853 Restaurant to the more relaxed Atrium Bistro. The hotel also offers extensive leisure facilities, including an indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi, fully equipped gym and outdoor gym, plus a spa with five treatment rooms and a dedicated relaxation room.
Stanbrook Abbey Hotel near Worcester
Dating back to the early 16th century, Stanbrook Abbey Hotel, in Worcester, is a former Grade II listed monastery with beautifully preserved heritage through its original architecture. From its dramatic stone cloisters to gothic stained-glass windows, guests are treated to a unique and authentic taste of what life in an abbey was once like.
With 70 individual bedrooms, the hotel also has 15 flexible meeting spaces.
The largest space is the Garden Pavilion holding 400 for a reception, 350 theatre style and 224 cabaret style.
The Callow Great Hall can hold 200 theatre style and the St Anne’s Hall has a maximum capacity of 70 theatre style.
There are 26 acres of grounds with gardens ideal for teambuilding activities. Inside the hotel there is a games room, a wine cellar, and a snooker room too.

Set within a Grade II listed crescent on the cusp of Park Lane, the hotel has 150 bedrooms which includes 30 Suites, Lilli by Akira Back restaurant and the Yatra signature Spa.
The newly refurbished Grand Ballroom at Montcalm Mayfair, Autograph Collection combines grandeur and versatility in a pillarless 400m² space with bespoke wood panelling and handcrafted details. The movable staging and the clear sightlines support awards dinners, weddings, and brand showcases, accommodating up to 240 dinner guests with stage and dance floor. Surrounding suites provide breakout options, while The Library which holds 40 guests, and the Bloom private dining room which seats up to 14, offer refined settings for briefings, tastings, and VIP hosting.
